Personality Development – Beyond the Class Room

Extra and co-curricular activities will be the hallmark of ITM. These activities will be are organized around the year and will provide the students a platform to showcase their potentials apart from the routine academic activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clubs

The institute is in the process state of forming values clubs. It will be obligatory for every student to join at least one club.

 

Techies club will provide a bog boon for the budding information technologists and die hard software developers. Club will also provide mentor based training to the students to prepare for certifications like MCSE, CCNA, Dance Club is designed to train the student and faculty members, in Western, Punjabi Folk and Indian Classical dances. Experts from outside will be invited to provide valuable tips. Music Clubs will provide instrumental and vocal training to the students under the guidance of music teacher. In Dramatic club student will be given knowledge of all the theatrical aspects may it  be direction, acting, dialogue delivery, lighting system, Stage settings etc.

 

Cookery club is specially designed for girl students who wish to learn the skills of preparing variety of dishes / recipes. It also helps in developing the concept of home management and time management.

 

The fine art club will organize training in various types of painting. Other activated of the club will be Rangoli, Mehndi, Flower Arrangement, Cartooning and Sketches.

 

Foreign Languages

The institute has made special arrangements to be multilingual in the global era. Regular Classes will be held in French / German as per students demand. Special lab has been established to improve communication skills and command over English and for coaching IELTS test.

Sports

To develop the spirit of healthy competition, disciplined approach and mental and physical toughness among the students of this institute, sports activities like Hockey, Football, Cricket, Volleyball and Basketball as outdoor events and Badminton, Table tennis, chess, carom as Indoor events will be regularly organized. Inter class competitions in these events will be held through out the year as per academic calendar of the institute.

Ideal Education Society is committed towards society welfare and in giving equal opportunity to all sections of the society to pursue higher studies.

 

Scholarships

Merit Cum Means Scholarship: Rs 500/- per month will be awarded to the students based on their merit and financial conditions.

Rural Area Scholarships: Students from rural areas will be considered for merit cum means scholarship.

Merit Scholarship: Student achieving university top to positions will be awarded merit scholarship of Rs. 600/- per month. In addition university overall topper will be given a Cash Award of Rs 10000/-

 

Book Grant

Few needy students will be provided free of cost all the subject books depending on their merit and financial condition.

 

Educational Loan

Educational Loan from Oriental Bank of Commerce is available to needy students. Their representative will be available at the admission office to extend all possible information and help to sanction educational loan. However it is advisable that parents obtain loan from their place of residence.

 

Laptop to every student

The institute has made elaborate arrangement with firms like COMPAQ/ HP and financial institutions under which every laptop. Students are required to pay a fixed monthly installment through out the duration of their courses. This endeavour is not only to inculcate computer culture but also helps in forming knowledge based society. It is obligatory for the students of this Institute to have Laptop.
